It all started with a simple question:

How can we help people remember what matters most, without relying on complex technology?

Our Story

As a neuropsychologist working with older adults, our founder saw firsthand how difficult it can be to use memory strategies like spaced retrieval, even though they’re incredibly effective. The technique works, but it’s hard to apply in everyday life—especially for those who aren't comfortable with digital tools or apps.

That’s where the idea for Memory on Hand was born: a discreet, wrist-based device that gently prompts you to recall important information—just when your brain needs it. No screens, no apps—just a single button and smart, science-backed vibrations.

Our team came together during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Neuro Nexus competition through the University of Calgary. What began as an idea sparked by our CEO’s vision quickly grew into a shared mission that brought us together despite being strangers at the time.

Since then, we’ve built a startup, secured a patent, raised over $60K in funding, and created multiple prototypes—all driven by the mission to make memory support simple, accessible, and effective.

Now, we're proud to launch a product designed with real people in mind—blending science, simplicity, and care. Our journey has always been about one thing: helping you hold on to what matters most.
